PM Law had the privilege of advising Global IT Factory doo Beograd in the transaction that resulted in the transfer of 100% share in the company to Melbourne’s edtech company – Global IT Factory Pty Ltd. The Serbian transaction was part of a broader transaction in which the Australian VC firm Microequities acquired a minority stake in Global IT Factory Pty Ltd.
The Serbian entity acts as the research and development centre for Melbourne’s entity. Their curriculum management software is provided as a subscription to education providers in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Middle East.
Based on the previous long-standing cooperation with Global IT Factory doo Beograd, PM Law also had the opportunity to navigate the company and its management through corporate, employment, contract, IP, and M&A matters at all stages of the transaction, including due diligence, negotiations of the transaction documents, completion, and the post-completion phase.
Our team was led by Petar Miskovic (Partner) and Stefan Bestic (Associate), with support from Dusica Dukanac (Partner) and Dusan Vasiljevic (Attorney at Law).
